Brushes:

Use what makes you feel comfortable! I like soft synthetic brushes in a variety of sizes in flats, rounds and filberts. We are doing a relatively small painting, so I suggest bringing smaller round and filbert brushes for details.

My Preferred Brands: Princeton Velvet Touch, Princeton Selects, Princeton Lauren, & Silver Crystal Series

Surface:

● Size: 9 x 12 inches

You can use any size you feel comfortable with. I am using 9 x 12 to fit the time allotted for the class. My reference photos will be sized to 9 x 12. If you want to use a different size, please reach out in advance and I will make you sized print outs.

● Thick Paper, Gesso board, wood panel or canvas. I will be working on a wood panel during the workshop.

Note: If working on a panel, make sure that it is pre-gessoed and ready to be painted on.
