What better way to spend a weekend than in a historic hotel. There’s tubing and bikes downstairs; a terrific cafe serving the best pastries, sandwiches and coffee around; quick access to the NCR trail which extends all the way to the Pennsylvania border; and the Gunpowder River for fly-fishing. Just over the hill is Manor Mill, which has continuous workshops, yoga, fine art and all sorts of unique products for sale. There’s not much else you can ask for.
