Preserving Maryland's Plumbing Heritage with Chris Saffer
of Saffer Plumbing, Heating & Electrical

Join us for a session of Preservation in Practice dedicated to historic plumbing fixtures. This presentation will delve into the faucets and heating fixtures of the Baltimore area, exploring their mechanics, repair, and restoration. With a hands-on "petting zoo" of historic items, you'll gain practical insights into preserving the functional beauty of these vintage pieces.

The session, led by expert Chris Saffer, will feature a visual presentation and a "petting zoo" of original fixtures to explore. Topics will include demystifying faucet mechanics, navigating the acquisition of hard-to-find repair parts, and mastering period-appropriate restoration techniques.
