Handled Step Stool with Tom Parmelee Tuesdays, Feb. 17, 24, and Mar. 3 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
In this class you will go from rough lumber to a completed step stool complete with your own design choices. The stool is modeled after one built for my grandmother many years ago and is still in use in my own home. You will learn how to use a combination of power and hand tools in order to build this piece. The class will take a minimum of three sessions to complete. |

You will be assembling pre-cut pieces of pine that make up your nesting box as well as drilling the entry hole. Each participant will learn to shape, and texture their components with hammer texture, and wrap the stones of their choice to their earrings. All tools and materials will be provided. Intro to Basket Weaving with Bey-Her Baskets: Classic Bowl Basket Sunday, February 22 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Students will enjoy weaving this classic bowl that can be used for a multitude of purposes. Using a variety of reed sizes, the basket is woven on a basswood base. Shaping will be the focus. In the interest of time, stakes will be inserted into the base prior to class. Students will have a variety of color choices for the class. |

Brad Cox is a multifaceted artist from the Baltimore area, recognized for his extensive contributions to music, literature, and podcasting. As a singer-songwriter and musician, Cox has cultivated a diverse and prolific career, forming and fronting notable musical groups including Skitzo Calypso, Niki Thunders, We Love the Underground, and Veteran Avenue. His musical journey, which commenced in Los Angeles in 1996, has yielded over 24 albums and EPs, alongside collaborative songwriting and vocal work for numerous regional projects.
Shelby Blondell is a driven creative force, seamlessly blending artistry, innovation, entrepreneurship, and advocacy to continue supporting her mission to uplift. Shelby began releasing music with her 2013 “Fly” EP and followed up with a self-titled EP in 2014, performing widely throughout MD/DC/VA/PA. Her single “Fun in the Sun” reached the Top 10 on European indie music charts. She’s shared stages with notable acts like Pentatonix, Sabrina Carpenter, Howie Day, Scotty McCreery, Walker Hayes, Ryan Cabrera, and James Authur. |
