Meet Brad Blair, Manor Mill’s Gallery’s Director & Curator
Hello Everyone! I'm excited to introduce myself as the Curator of Manor Mill Gallery. I’ve been coordinating and hanging fine art exhibits for about ten years now and love applying my passion, skills, and knowledge to further expand the wonderful gallery and artist community here at Manor Mill. I work hard to cultivate strong relationships with artists to ensure their experience at Manor Mill Gallery is the best it can be. I’m also responsible for laying out and hanging all of the fine art in the building. I do so with the utmost care and attention to detail and never take shortcuts to ensure our exhibits are always dynamic, eye-catching, balanced, and beautiful. Ceramic Artist & Instructor
My background in the art field spans two decades. I hold a B.S. degree in Fine Arts from Towson University, and an MFA from Florida State University. My ceramic sculptures are exhibited both locally & nationally. I also have eleven years of adjunct teaching experience between Florida State University and Towson University. Fascinated by Fungi!
I’m also an avid mushroom forager and nature lover. I began @MarylandMushrooms on Instagram a few years ago as I love capturing the beauty of fungi and sharing it with the world. My connection to nature has always been strong, but my passion for learning about the mysterious world of fungi has only strengthened that connection to all new levels. Alongside my professional background, I am also a devoted husband to my amazing wife Whitney, and a proud father of two beautiful little girls, Millie and Maisey. I believe my combination of artistic expertise and family values make me a valuable asset to the gallery and its community.
