We are seeking highly physical performers — actors who move with intention, inhabit characters fully, and can transition seamlessly between multiple roles. This production has a strong musical element; singers who can harmonize are especially encouraged to audition.
ICHABOD CRANE (male-presenting, 20s–40s) — A superstitious Connecticut schoolteacher who stumbles into Sleepy Hollow. The role demands sharp comic instincts and a fearless physical presence. This role does not double.
KATRINA VAN TASSEL (female-presenting, 20s–30s) — The clever, captivating daughter of Baltus Van Tassel. More than just a prize to be won, Katrina knows exactly what she’s doing — and a strong, pleasing singing voice is essential for this role. This role does not double.

BROM BONES (male-presenting, 20s–40s) — Sleepy Hollow’s beloved local hero: quick to laugh, and quicker to fight. Brom is pure swagger and bluster, and the role calls for a commanding, larger-than-life stage presence. This role does not double.
ENSEMBLE (any gender, 16 and older) — This is, at its heart, an ensemble show — and we are looking for 8 or more versatile performers ready to throw themselves into it. Ensemble members will inhabit a wide range of characters, which may not be limited to their own age and gender. Strong movers and harmony singers are especially welcome. Ensemble roles include, but are not limited to:
We welcome performers of all ethnicities, body types, sexual identities, gender identities, and gender expressions.
