Parent & Child Welding

Interested in some parent/child "bonding" time!? In this class, you and a child learn the fundamentals and safety associated with MIG welding and will take home a welded sculpture that you collaboratively make using old silverware.
One child and one adult per ticket.

Dad and Me Try-It
Pottery Wheel Class
with Teresa Stecher
Sunday, June 16, 10:00 - 12:00pm
Spend Father's Day morning learning to make pottery on the wheel! You will take turns using a pottery wheel and have the opportunity to make 3 to 4 pieces total. Choose your glaze colors - we take care of the rest. We'll provide everything you need to create something you can take home!
One child and one adult per ticket.

Afternoon Demonstrations
We will have several afternoon demonstrations running at The Barn. Learn about woodworking with Adam Melfa, power carving with artist David Hyme and chat with Jim Prinkey about the ins-and-outs of woodturning all while they demonstrate their craft!
Sawmill Slabbing at Shepperd Road
We will be slabbing black walnut, cherry and/or sassafrass logs throughout the day using this Woodland Mills 32” portable sawmill. Cut your own live edge slab and take it with you! Dimensions will vary between 12” and 24” x 6’ and up to 2” thick. Perfect for a console table or woodworking project!
