"We believe that meeting with one's peers is essential to a healthy artistic process. We hold regular sessions to display and examine each other's work - many times works are in progress - and find it has led to a unique bond amongst group members. We share a verbal and visual history, for some of us spanning decades, which has led to a deep trust in each other's opinion. We all must, of course, return to our studios alone. But the time spent in The Crit Group enhances not only our artistic processes but also every aspect of our lives."  -The Crit Group
