Humbletown is a folk/bluegrass band featuring Morgan Carnes on clawhammer banjo, Dylan Lewis on flatpick guitar and mandolin, and James Schrag on upright bass and fiddle. Morgan and Dylan primarily write their own songs in eclectic styles but also play traditional songs, fiddle tunes, and folk and country covers.

Stained Glass

Come experience the joy of stained glass art and leave with your very own stained glass sun catcher. Explore the colors and textures of stained glass, learn design rules, and experience every step of the stained glass process from start to finish.

Intermediate Stained Glass
4-week course
July 6, 13, 20 and 27th @ 10:00am

We will go more in depth into stained glass design rules and learn tips and tricks to improve your stained-glass skills. You will design your own suncatcher or small panel, complete each step of the stained-glass process, and leave with your finished piece at the end of the course, improving upon what was already learned and adding some extra details and techniques along the way.

Get creative with local recording artist and producer David Merrick! Part performance, part class, part open mic night, we’ll talk music, lyrics, arrangement and production as we listen to each other’s original songs and offer feedback and areas for growth.

Experimenting With Liquid Watercolor Ink with Kas Rohm

Saturday, July 1st @ 12:00pm

Liquid watercolor ink is a rich and vibrant form of watercolor paint that is incredibly fun to use and adds lively transparency to a painting. We’ll experiment with caressing our 100% cotton watercolor paper with droplets of ink and then use our brushes to gently press and coax the color into various flower shapes such as purple and blue wisteria, bright red poppies, and amber tulips.

Spinning Yarn on a Drop Spindle with Heather Kennedy

Saturday, July 1st @ 2:00pm

In this workshop students will learn the basics of using a drop spindle to create yarn from wool. The class includes a drop spindle for each student to keep and 2 ounces of dyed wool.

Makeup class and concert Sunday, July 23 at 6PM

Build on the basics learned in Absolute Beginners with this course. Add chords, learn new songs, discover how to play tablature and have FUN in this three part course.

Discover some secrets of oil painting by painter Robert Seyffert in an intense but fun one-day workshop. You’ll learn essentials of mixing colors, general techniques in applying paint, principles of the artists point of view/observation and how to use all sources for creating your own work of art. They’ll be a brief demonstration and then you’ll go to work. Learn about Robert Seyffret.
