Michael Gaudreau resides in Bel Air, MD and taught art at The John Carroll School in Bel Air from 1975 to 2020. Michael received his Master’s degree from Parsons School of Design, NYC in 1981. Michael divides his time painting between the Maryland countryside and the Adirondack mountains. He has been represented by the Corscaden barn Gallery in Keene Valley, NY since 2009. 

Michael has won awards from the Pastel Society of America, Hudson Valley Art Assoc., both Southeast and Northeast pastel societies, Connecticut Pastel Society, the Maryland Pastel Society, and the Maryland Federation of Art. In 2016 he was awarded the Art du Pastel en France award from the Pastel Society of America. He most recently was juried into three international pastel shows: Maryland Pastel Society,  IAPS (international Asso. of Pastel Societies) and the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada. Michael is a Signature member of the Pastel Society of America and Maryland Pastel Society.
