Ceramics: 8 Week Wheel Class with Tina Haines

Students will be introduced to skills including throwing, trimming, and glazing. Basic forms on the wheel include cups, bowls, small plates and vases. For students with little to no prior wheel experience.

Stained Glass Level 2:

If you’ve taken the beginner class and loved it, this class is for you! In the Level 2 class we will create more complicated designs and put more focus on our techniques. We will also finish our stained-glass sun catchers with a lead came border and a black patina.

*Note: You must have taken beginner-stained glass in order to take this class!

Paint a Fishing Fly!

Whether loose and abstract or traditional and realistic, the subject of a fishing fly gives the perfect interesting, colorful, and unique subject for a painting. A real eye-catcher, painting these unique little flies will surely leave you with a conversation piece! Fly Tying for Parent & Child

Come and learn everything you need to know to tie your own flies! You’ll learn from a 14-year-old young man who eats, sleeps, and breathes fishing. He has been tying flies for years, having developed many of his own patterns.  Andrew will patiently teach you the proper use of all necessary tools and materials to give you what you need to start tying your own flies.

Punch Needle Rug Hooking - Fish!

In this step-by-step workshop, students will create unique fish design mug rug using punch needle rug hooking! Each student will create a 4" mug rug and will be able to choose their own colors. This workshop will provide students with a basic understanding of punch needle rug hooking techniques, design and color planning.

Hubby Jenkins of the Carolina Chocolate Drops

Hubby Jenkins, former member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, is a talented multi-instrumentalist who endeavors to share his love and knowledge of old-time American music. Born and raised in Brooklyn he delved into his Southern roots, following the thread of African American history that wove itself through country blues, ragtime, fiddle and banjo, and traditional jazz.
