Jim Prinkey will be teaching the intricacies of how to turn a mortar and pestle set. WORKSHOPS Sat, 4/13 @ 12pm Vintage Botanical Wall Mosaics with Third Mine Arts Create a 9" x 12" botanical mosaic using a vintage plaster casting centerpiece. We will use the Pique Assiette technique by incorporating bits of broken decorative dishes into the mosaic. There will be several colors to choose from. The artwork will need time to dry and grout and will be available to be picked up Sunday afternoon. Register

WORKSHOPS Sat, 4/13 @ 3pm Growing your own Microgreens Learn to grow your own microgreens at home right in your windowsill or kitchen counter! Each attendee will take home a single use grow kit containing soil, instructions, and broccoli microgreen seeds, as well as 2oz of our Farmer's Choice Microgreen blend to enjoy in the kitchen! A detailed demonstration of planting, harvesting, and grow tips for everything in between, will be led by Candice Gasper, owner of Valley Mill Microgreens. One ticket permits 1 child and 1 adult. He has been tying flies for years, having developed many of his own patterns. WORKSHOPS Sun, 4/14 @ 12pm Beginner Watercolor- The Sky’s the Limit! with Kas Rohm The sky’s the limit in this fun workshop! We’ll use various watercolor techniques to paint realistic clouds, including white fluffy cumulous clouds using White Bleed Proof paint, dark ominous storm clouds, and clouds with grey and purple rain sweeping down toward the landscape. There are many ways to create this beautiful natural phenomenon with watercolor and we’ll explore several of them. All materials are supplied including wine! For adults 13+ Register

WORKSHOPS: Sun, 4/14 @ 1pm Cheesemaking with Charlottestown Farm In this class Pam Miller from Charlottetown Farm will teach you how to make ricotta cheese, fresh chèvre and a bloomy rind cave aged goat cheese called crottin. She will go over the different types of milk and how they impact the cheese making process, supplies you will need, technique and other important components in cheese making. We will discuss and taste each cheese as it’s made. No previous experience required and no age limit. Register
