| Make a Silver Leaf Pendant Sat 6/29 @ 10am In this workshop, we will use Fine Silver metal clay to create a leaf pendant that can be worn as a necklace on a chain. We will be using a real leaf impressed into the silver. The pendant may be embellished with optional cubic zirconia. We will fire our work in a kiln during the lunch hour. After the break, we will polish and choose a patina to finish the pieces. 3 spots left! |

Participants will use simple tools to make a Turkey Wing & Fan Whisk hand broom & discover a new appreciation for the decorative & functional styles of this Appalachian craft. | Beginner Watercolor: Transparency Effects Sun 6/30 @ 4:30pm One of the hardworking tools in a watercolorist’s toolbox is applying and then lifting wet paint off the paper to create a beautiful transparency effect. In this workshop, we’ll brush rich paint into flower petals and leaves and then gently mop up the paint to reveal amazing sheer pastels. We’ll embellish the details of our paintings with black waterproof ink. |
